Ernie has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. He joined Bathgate Flooring in 2005 and is responsible for managing the contracting team across the company. Ernie is an Associate Member of the CIOB (ACIOB) and is dedicated to meeting the company’s commitments and clients’ expectations. Ernie’s a keen football fan and National Trust member.
David Brooker
Commercial Manager
As Commercial Manager, David has overall responsibility for all aspects of the Commercial Department. Having graduated with a BSc. in Building in 1984 he has worked within the construction industry for 40 years and exclusively within the raised access flooring industry for the last 30 years.
Ashley Sanders
Sales Manager & Specification Consultant
Ashley brings 40 years of experience in the construction/raised flooring industry within Datahall & Raised Access flooring projects within the London Area and is dedicated to meeting the company’s commitments and clients’ expectations.
Outside of work, Ashley is a Netball Umpire, enjoys spending time with family travelling, along with visiting English Heritage and National Trust sites.
James Ridley
Estimating Manager
James joined Bathgate Flooring in 2013, working his way up from Estimating Administrator, eventually becoming Estimating Manager in March 2021. As manager of the estimating department, James is in charge of ensuring quotations are sent out accurately and efficiently, taking into consideration the specification and the client’s needs.
George Townsend
Senior Quantity Surveyor
George joined Bathgate in 2016 and is responsible for: contract terms and conditions review encompassing a diverse range of contract types, cashflow management, estimation of new tenders, provision of variations, applications for payment, material scheduling, and project reporting. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in quantity surveying and looking to complete by the end of 2024, with the ultimate goal of attaining MRICS accreditation
